Coquitlam Wedding Photographer

Your wedding will move quickly - your photographs will bring it all back

From an intimate ceremony close to home to a celebration somewhere you’ve always dreamed of, I’ll help you remember what made the day yours. Based in Coquitlam, photographing weddings throughout Greater Vancouver and available for destination celebrations.

  • Coquitlam & Tri-Cities
  • Weddings · Elopements · Engagements
  • 10+ years experience
  • Fully insured & licensed
  • Over 1,000+ sessions captured
  • Limited wedding dates available
  • Natural moments with guidance when you need it

I'll guide portraits, family groupings and the timeline where it helps, then step back for the laughter, tears and honest moments that can't be staged.

  • A calm presence during a fast-moving day

You'll know what we need and when. If the schedule shifts or the weather changes, I'll adapt without adding pressure.

  • More than the formal moments

Alongside the milestones you expect, you'll get the moments you were too busy to see: a reaction across the room, a tight hug, nervous hands before the vows.

The Wedding Experience

Thoughtfully planned, naturally photographed

  1. Tell me about your day

Share your date, venues, approximate guest count and what you know about the timeline. We'll talk about the moments that matter most and choose the coverage that fits.

    Get in touch

    Step 1

  2. Build photography into the timeline

I'll help you plan time for details, getting ready, family photos and couple portraits - including a portrait stop near your venue - without turning the day into one long photoshoot.

    Step 2

  3. Live the moment, not the timeline

On the day, I'll organize the family portraits, find beautiful light and guide you when it helps, then step back so you can be fully present.

    Step 3

  4. Experience it all again

Every photograph is carefully selected and professionally edited, delivered as print-ready and web-ready files in a private online gallery.

Feedback from clients

Hi, I'm Natalie

Wedding photographer drawn to real connection and honest moments

What I love most about weddings is how many parts of your life come together in one place. While everyone is watching you, I'm also watching them: a parent holding back tears, a friend already laughing, two relatives meeting for the first time.

I don't need everything to look perfect. I'll organize the family portraits, find beautiful light and guide you when needed, but I won't turn your wedding into a day-long photoshoot. Some of my favourite moments happen when the plan loosens.

After more than ten years and over 1,000 photo sessions, I know every couple shows love differently. Whether your wedding is in Coquitlam, elsewhere in the Tri-Cities or farther away, I'm there to preserve the people, the atmosphere and the little things that made the day unmistakably yours.

Photographs for the part of your wedding that becomes memory

You may spend months making choices for a day that passes in hours. What remains is your marriage, the stories people tell, and the photographs that help all of you see the day again.

A day lived, not posed

The best part of your wedding is getting to experience it together. The nervous excitement, the just-married feeling, and a room full of people celebrating with you.

I’ll make time for beautiful portraits and leave space for you to enjoy the day, capturing photographs that bring you back to it.

The whole story, not just the highlights

While you're living your wedding, you only see one part at a time - not how your partner waited, or how the room reacted during the vows. Your gallery brings those parallel moments together.

Wide photographs keep the setting and atmosphere, close details return the care behind your choices, and candid images reveal everything moving around you.

Everyone who shared it with you

Your wedding photographs become a record of everyone who stood close during this chapter: the person who steadied your hands, the friend crying before the vows, the guests who filled the dance floor.

These images often grow more valuable with time. A family portrait may be one of the rare occasions when generations are together and beautifully documented.

Photo session FAQs

How many hours of coverage do we need?

It depends on how much of the day you want remembered. Two hours suits an intimate ceremony with family photos and portraits; five hours usually covers part of the preparations through the start of the reception; ten hours tells the full story through the dancing. Once I see your timeline, I'll recommend coverage that leaves nothing rushed - and extra hours can be added at $500 each.

Do you photograph smaller weddings and elopements?

Yes, and I love them. The Ceremony Collection was made for intimate celebrations - two hours for the vows, family photos and portraits together. If it's just the two of you, have a look at my elopement photography.

Can you help us plan our wedding day photography timeline?

Yes - it's one of the most useful things we do together. Before the wedding, I'll help you leave enough time for details, getting ready, family photographs and portraits, plan around the best light, and put together a short family-photo list, so the day has structure without feeling like one long photoshoot.

Is an engagement session included, and can we add one?

The Signature Collection includes a complimentary one-hour engagement session. With the Ceremony or Essentials Collection, you can add one for $425 for one hour or $550 for two - rates available only when it's booked together with a wedding collection. It's also a lovely way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day.

How many edited photos will we receive?

At least 120 with the Ceremony Collection, 250 with the Essentials and 450 with the Signature - every one carefully edited and retouched. These are minimums: your final gallery reflects the pace of your day, and each added hour brings about 50 more images.

Do we need a second photographer?

It helps most when you're getting ready in separate places, have a large guest count, or want the ceremony seen from more than one angle. If you'd like one, I arrange it for you - a second photographer I work with regularly joins the day for an additional fee, so there's no one extra for you to find or brief.

Will we receive sneak peeks, and when will our full gallery be ready?

With the Essentials and Signature Collections, you'll get a sneak-peek gallery within a week. Your complete gallery follows in a private online gallery, with print-ready high-resolution and web-ready files; the exact delivery timeframe is written into your agreement before you book.

How do we reserve our date, and what are your deposit and payment terms?

Send me your date, venues and a little about your plans. After a short conversation, I'll confirm the coverage and send a personalized quote. Your date is reserved once the agreement is signed and the retainer is paid; the remaining balance and when it's due are set out in the agreement. Prices are in CAD, with GST additional.
