Do sessions happen in the studio or outdoors?

Either - or both. The Coquitlam studio is ideal for maternity, newborn, portrait, and headshot photoshoots, particularly through the wetter months. When the season is right, I love heading outdoors to spots like Buntzen Lake, Mundy Park, or Rocky Point in Port Moody.

Which outdoor locations do you recommend around Coquitlam?

Buntzen and Alouette Lake for still water and forest light, Mundy Park for deep Pacific Northwest greens, Minnekhada for wilder, more dramatic backdrops, Pitt River Dike for open golden-hour skies, and Rocky Point for coastal sunsets. If you're unsure, we'll choose together based on the season and the feeling you want.

How early should we book?

Wedding dates go quickly - often six months to a year ahead for peak season. Family, maternity, and portrait sessions usually need just a few weeks' notice, though spring and fall fill up fast in the Tri-Cities.

Do you help with outfits and planning?

Always. After you book, we'll go over locations, timing, outfits, and all the small details together. I'll point you toward colours and styles that photograph beautifully in natural light - you just show up as yourself.
