Here's what I've learned after years behind the camera: the photos you'll love most aren't the perfectly posed ones - they're the ones where everyone looks happy, relaxed, and completely themselves.

Maybe you're expecting a little one, or your kids are growing up way too fast, or you and your person just want photos that feel like you. Whatever brought you here - I've got you. My job is to make the whole thing feel less like a photoshoot and more like a really good afternoon together.

We'll pick a beautiful spot around Langley or the Fraser Valley, figure out outfits together (I promise it's easier than it sounds), and during the session I'll gently guide you so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands. You just enjoy each other - I'll catch the good stuff.

Do you shoot in a studio or on location?

Both options work for me. I have access to several studios around Langley and nearby, ideal for maternity, newborn, portrait, and headshot sessions - especially during the rainy months when an indoor setting keeps things cozy and warm. For families, couples, and engagement shoots, I enjoy working outdoors at places like Campbell Valley, Williams Park, or Fort Langley. We’ll pick whatever fits your style and the time of year.

What are the best outdoor locations for a photoshoot in Langley?

Some of my favourites are Williams Park for soft, forested light, Campbell Valley Regional Park for open golden-hour fields, Derby Reach for quiet riverside settings, and Fort Langley for heritage charm. If you're not sure where to start, that's part of what I help with - we'll find a location that fits the feeling you're after.

How far in advance should I book?

For weddings, the earlier the better - popular dates can book up months ahead, sometimes a year for peak season. For family, maternity, and portrait sessions, a few weeks' notice is usually plenty, though I do book up quickly in spring and fall. If you have a date in mind, reach out early and we'll secure it.

What should we wear, and do you help with planning?

Yes - I help with all of it. Once you book, we'll talk through outfits, locations, timing, and any little details so the session feels effortless. I'll guide you toward colours and styles that photograph beautifully in soft, natural light, and I'm always happy to help you put a look together. You just show up and be yourself.

How and when do we receive our photos?

Your carefully edited images are delivered in a private online gallery you can download, share, and order prints from. Turnaround is typically 2–3 weeks, and for weddings a little longer given the volume. I edit everything in my signature warm, natural style so the final gallery feels timeless rather than trendy.
