Couples Classic
$475
A relaxed, focused session for celebrating your relationship or creating a beautiful collection of engagement photographs.

Both packages can be used for love-story or engagement portraits. Surprise-proposal coverage is planned individually around your location, timing, and desired coverage.

STUDIO SESSIONS
Studio rental is additional and starts at $50 per hour.
TRAVEL
A $20 travel fee applies to West Vancouver, Richmond, UBC, and Spanish Banks.

I’ve always loved photographing weddings. There’s something incredibly meaningful about being invited into a day filled with so much emotion, anticipation, and connection. But I’m just as drawn to the moments that happen before the wedding—from everyday love stories and newly engaged excitement to the few unforgettable seconds when someone asks a life-changing question.
Surprise proposals are especially fun for me. I love helping plan the location, timing, and small details, quietly waiting for everything to unfold, and then seeing the emotion take over. No two reactions are ever the same, and the excitement immediately after the yes creates photographs that simply can’t be recreated.
I’ll guide you throughout the session, but I’ll also leave room for the real interactions that make the photographs feel like your relationship rather than a performance.
After more than 10 years and 1,000 photo sessions, it still feels moving to watch two people choose each other and begin a new chapter together. Every couple starts their family story in a different way, and it’s a privilege to preserve something so personal, joyful, and entirely their own.

There isn’t only one reason to book a couples photoshoot. You may want to celebrate the relationship you already share, photograph the excitement of being newly engaged, or preserve the moment one of you asks a life-changing question. Whatever brings you here, the experience should feel personal rather than staged.
An engagement session after the yes
An engagement session gives you time to celebrate without the nerves or secrecy of the proposal itself. It can happen shortly after you become engaged or later while you’re planning your wedding.
Your engagement photographs can be used for announcements, invitations, a wedding website, or simply kept as a record of this exciting chapter. Whether you imagine something romantic and natural, polished and urban, or a little more editorial, we’ll shape the setting and creative direction around the two of you.
A love-story session—no milestone required
A love-story photo session is for couples who want to remember what their relationship feels like right now. You may be celebrating an anniversary, marking a new chapter, or simply realizing that most of your photographs together are quick phone pictures.
We’ll create space for the laughter, affection, and quiet ways you naturally connect. Through movement and gentle prompts, your Vancouver couples photography session becomes less about posing for the camera and more about enjoying time together.
A surprise proposal captured as it happens
A surprise proposal deserves thoughtful preparation. We’ll plan the location, timing, positioning, and small details in advance so your partner can remain present in the moment without noticing the camera.
I’ll be ready to photograph the reaction, emotion, and first moments after the yes. Once you’ve had time to take everything in, we can continue with a short engagement portrait session while the excitement is still completely fresh.
Photo session FAQs
Can you help me plan a surprise proposal?
Yes. I can help you choose a suitable Vancouver location, consider lighting and crowd levels, plan the timing, and determine where I should be positioned. We’ll agree on the details and a simple arrival plan beforehand so I can photograph the proposal discreetly without taking you out of the moment.
What if we feel awkward or don’t know how to pose?
That’s completely normal. Most couples aren’t used to being photographed together. I’ll guide you with movement, simple prompts, and natural interactions rather than expecting you to hold stiff poses. You’ll always know what to do, while still having enough freedom for your real connection and personalities to come through.
What should we wear for our couples session?
I’ll help you coordinate outfits that work together without looking overly matched. We’ll consider your location, season, colours, textures, and the mood you want to create.
The Couples Classic includes one or two looks, while the Couples Signature allows time for two to four outfits and greater variety. Professional hair and makeup can also be arranged separately through trusted artists I work with regularly.
Where can our session take place, and what happens if it rains?
Your session can take place outdoors, in an urban Vancouver setting, somewhere personally meaningful, or in a rented studio. I’ll help you choose a location that suits your style and makes sense for the time of year.
For outdoor sessions, I monitor the hourly forecast and normally make a final decision one or two days beforehand. If the conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll arrange another date.
How many photographs will we receive, and when will they be ready?
The Couples Classic includes 50 professionally edited digital images, while the Couples Signature includes 100. I’ll share some preview photographs within two business days, followed by your complete gallery within two weeks.
You’ll receive files suitable for printing and sharing online through a private gallery available for two months. If you need the complete gallery sooner, 48-hour express editing is available for an additional $150.
Do you offer gift certificates for couples photoshoots?
Yes, I offer gift certificates (both digital and printed) that can be customized to the your needs.
